To provide funding for outstanding investigators who are beginning independent research on the health effects of air pollution.
Must be scientists of any nationality holding a PhD, ScD, MD, DVM, or DrPH degree or equivalent; can reside in the US or elsewhere; at the time of application the candidate should have two to seven years of research experience after obtaining the highest degree and must be in an assistant professor or equivalent position at an academic or research institution.
Selection will be based on the research proposal, letters of support, institutional support, and the applicant’s career development and mentoring plan.
