To provide financial assistance to graduate students who want to pursue their education in social work.
Applicants must be a Master of Social Work student who has interest and/or demonstrated ability in health/mental health practice and a commitment to working in African American communities; must be an NASW member and have applied to or have been accepted into an accredited MSW Program; must have potential for completing a MSW Program and have a GPA of 3.0 or above; must be enrolled in a MSW program for more than one year.
Selection of applicants will be based on the projected annual earnings to the fund and contributions.
