Scholarship Mission

To support the training of physician scientists who plan to practice clinical management of patients with mitochondrial disorders and to conduct clinically oriented research in the field of mitochondrial medicine.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must hold a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree and have completed an ACGME or Canadian LMCC accredited residency program by the date of grant funding.

How Winners are Selected

Selection will be based on the committee’s criteria. Preference will be given to applicants who intend to remain in the US or Canada after completing training.
