To provide financial assistance to dental hygiene students and dental hygienists who can demonstrate a commitment to further knowledge through academic achievement, professional excellence and desire to improve the public’s overall health.
Applicants must be Sigma Phi Alpha members pursuing a graduate degree in dental hygiene or any related fields; must have a minimum grade point average (GPA); must be a professional or student member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA).
