Applicants must be members of a racial or ethnic group underrepresented in the patent law profession and be seeking admission to an ABA-accredited law school in the United States.
Recipients are selected based on demonstrated commitment to developing a career in intellectual property law; academic performance during the undergraduate, graduate and law school levels; financial need; leadership skills; and community activities or special accomplishments.
