To bring together individuals with diverse interests in policy areas in order to complement and enrich the experiences of all program participants.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permitted to work in the United States; must be graduate or have professional degree in a health-related field (behavioral science, social sciences, biological sciences and health professions) from an accredited institution completed prior to the fellowship start date; must familiar with the federal legislative process, Congress and the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC); and must have demonstrated interest in public policy, and commitment to creating and implementing policy to improve the living conditions for underserved and underrepresented individuals.
