To help students pursue post-secondary studies, especially in health care or elementary education.
Applicants must be graduates of or graduating seniors from Elgin High School and must have attended Elgin High School for at least 2 years; must have a minimum 2.9 GPA (high school or college).
Special consideration will be given to those pursuing careers in health care or elementary education, and to previous recipients. Class ranking, GPA, financial need, and relative difficulty of courses will also be considered.
