To stimulate individuals to pursue careers in epilepsy in either research or practice settings.
Applicants must be pre-doctoral training students in Health Sciences; be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in medical school, in doctoral program or other graduate program; have an epilepsy-related study or research plan; have three months free period; have a qualified mentor; have an access to institutional resources including clinics or laboratories in conducting the project.
Applications are evaluated based on the quality of the proposed project; relevance of the proposed work to epilepsy; interest in the field of epilepsy; applicants’ qualifications; adequacy of facility and quality of the training environment.
