To award women who intend to pursue a full-time course of study at accredited institutions during the fellowship year.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are full-time students at an accredited U.S. institution during the fellowship year, and should be pursuing a course of study in the United States over the full academic year.
Selection panel of academic and practicing professionals who work in the respective selected professions fields will review and evaluate all fellowship applications for recommendation to the Program Committee of the AAUW Educational Foundation Board; final fellowship selections are approved by the Foundation Board of Directors.
